- New Beta Build for WotLK - Well it's the release of yet another pretty large patch of changes for the Beta servers. There will be many new dungeons available with this patch and the leveling path to 80 will also open up (the previous cap was 77).
- Awesome Cinematic Trailer - Almost as if they were trying to match Warhammer step for step Blizzard also released an equally awesome cinematic trailer this week. Check it out here.
- New Frostwyrm Sindragosa Introduced - If you watch the trailer you will most likely get a look at the Lich King right hand woman Sindragosa. Her games files label her as
. So she will be very closely tied to Arthas, but her place within the lore and story has not yet been set, can't wait to find out! - Feral Tanking Itemization - Much of the buzz around the news of WotLK has been focused on tanking, more specifically druid tanking. Druids are undergoing a slight overhaul on how they will tank. Mostly they won't be bumping against the armor cap anytime soon, now that items will not receive bonus armor for feral tanking. So Blizzard is looking for ways that they can improve feral druid tanking, and not harm other portions of the game. For instance, a suggestion was to change the Dire Bear multiplier. This however, would make resto druids even more powerful in PvP. So finding a delicate balance may be difficult.
- Hunter Pet Growl Sucks/ It'll Be Fixed - Blizzard acknowledges that Hunter Pet growl is severely broken right now, and some major changes will need to be made. They are working diligently for a solution, and we should see a fix shortly.
- WotLK Mounts "The Hog" - Well it looks like players may be able to obtain a Motorcycle type mount in the expansion. Game files suggest that it won't be an item used in a quest, but will be an actual mount that you could use to stroll down the streets of Orgrimmar in style!
