Tired of spending months leveling your character to get to the endgame content?

I certainly was. Bored of my L80 Mage I wanted to start all over again, this time with a horde Warrior, but just the thought of how much time it would take made me hesitate. So I started to look for good guides worth the money. Spending a large amount of money on powerlevling or buying a char on e-bay just don't appeal to me.
I wanted to get there by myself to a fair price.

I've leveled up a couple of chars since then and tried out quite a lot of guides. I found out that most of them are crappy grinding guides or just filled with loads of outdated information.

On this site I give you my oppinion of the best guides I found on the internet. WoW guides that actually work and will ease your life as a World of Warcraft player.

Wrath of The Lich King release closing in...

With the release of WotLK less than 5 weeks away and the recent announcement that honor and marks will NOT reset, the interest for PVP is still very much alive even if some people already spent their points in fear that they will do so.

Here's the latest WotLK News:

  • Patch 3.0 Releases to Live Game 10/14 - On Tuesday patch 3.0 will be released to live game servers in preparation for the WotLK release less than a month later. Read the patch notes here.
  • BC Raids to be Majorly Nerfed - It has been confirmed that all raids introduced with The Burning Crusade including bosses are going to be nerfed pretty seriously upon the release of patch 3.0. This means their health will be reduced as well as their melee damage output. From what we have already observed on the PTR the nerf is about 30%.
System Requirements for WotLK - Blizzard has released it's official system requirements for Wrath. Check out our blog to be sure you're prepared!
  • Honor Points and Marks Will NOT Reset After all - Merely hours after we sent out last week's newsletter Bornakk (an official Blizz poster) posted a shocking message in the forums stating that Honor and tokens would not be reset. He states that many players would be "surprised" by the reset as it is not something they've done before. My question is what about the players who bothered to read up on the news and blew their honor points on items they would not have otherwise bought? I feel this was really poor planning and communication on Blizzard's part!
  • Arena Season 4 to End Oct.14th - Arena season 4 is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, however the date is subject to change. This means the powers that be at Blizz will be taking a snapshot of the ladder at this time to determine who is eligible for end-of-season awards. If you think you might be, they advise you not to transfer your character until after the awards have been given. This "end" does not wipe teams or ratings so no worries there.
  • Brew of the Month Club - This year along with all the regular Brewfest activities players were given the option to spend tokens to join the brew of the month club. This means each month members will receive a different brew in their mailbox, each with different properties. If the brew is to your liking you may purchase more from specific vendors in Ironforge or Orgrimmar. Kind of cool, I think.
